Scared and waiting.

I had stereo biopsy yesterday, radiologist said he doesn't "think" it is cancer, IF it is, it is very early. He said most results are back in 24 hours. It's been 28 hours now, and results are still not back. This is making me very nervous. Does anyone think the delay is because it is bad news? In my racing paranoid mind I am thinking it is taking forever because they are doing further resting on something bad

No, it is usually because the lab is busy, or your doctor has received them and hasn't had time to review.

Did you know that this is a "diagnosed" thread? It appears that your doctor is expecting a benign result.
