BRCA positive

I recently have been having some breast care situations due to my nipples leaking. Mainly my left one. I have been complaining to my ob for a few years. Finally last year they ordered for me to have the Halo done. This was April 2015. The machine was broken and I didn't have the test done until October 2015. I kept calling for my results and no one would get back to me. So when I went for my annual check up April 2016, he had to call and get the lab results because they were never sent in. The results came back with precancerous cells. I was referred for breast care specialty.

I went and saw her in May and because of my family history she wanted the BRCA gene test done and an MRI. :because of my age she said the MRI was better for me due to having dense breast tissue. I am 34.

When the results came in I wasn't that surprised because of all the research I did. I am positive for the BRCA test. I had a small lump behind my left nipple that the MRI picked up. I just had a biopsy done Wednesday for that.
Waiting for the results are stressing me out.

The last appointment I asked her if I was going to need a double macetomy no matter what the biopsy says. She said yes because I am a gene carrier and my chances now are even higher.
My grandma had ovarian cancer 4 years ago (survivor). Her sister passed away from breast cancer by the time she was 40. My grandmas brothers daughter also had breast cancer and is a survivor. So I have a strong family line of cancer on my mothers side.

I am worried I will make the wrong decisions. Looking for answers.
