One thing I would like to input here.  If a person has any time at all between diagnosis and the beginning of their chemotherapy, I believe that it is very important to find the best nutritional supplements you can and begin building your body up.  I am not trying to sell Youngevity, I am just mentioning that I believe it was a factor in how well I went through my chemotherapy.  I took a lot of it for about three months before I started chemo.

I used the anti-emetics too, but I never threw up once.  I didn't get neuropathy.  I did lose some appetite and lost some weight, but I remained fairly healthy.  I did have hemorrhoids, but treated them with essential oils on Tuicks pads, and it worked wonderfully. I was careful to stay away from the public, but I didn't get any illnesses.

Anyway, I think that it is a good thing to build up your system before you start chemo.
