Does anyone know if anyone makes a night sleeve that closes with Velcro? Thank you.

when I hear the word Velcro I nearly cringe because whenever I get a brand new garment somehow I get it caught on my sleeve. 2 weeks ago I dug my arm out of my sewing box to be horrified. There was a thick black 10 inch piece of it wrapped around my sleeve. Of course there is only one way of getting it off and that is how my new sleeve got initiated into looking fuzzy and old.

Now your question. I haven't seen any. If your looking for easier donning thinking Velcro could help you could ask your night sleeve maker to put a zip in the sleeve. At least one girl I know has done that. Also there is a rubbery product called dycem that you put on your table and it grips the sleeve as you work the sleeve up higher and higher finishing off at the shoulder. I put my dycem on bar height counter and it gives better leverage. Also turn it inside out half way so you have about 10 inches to pull on initially then keep rolling up the sleeve. Have a look at bightlifedirect.com excellent return policy and fair prices. Lots of us love brightlifedirect.

I have the Solaris Tribute, no glove. it doesn't have Velcro, the fabric is stretchy, it's easy to put on. However, (always a however) I had to have a custom even though it comes in a long, it wasn't long enough. The custom sleeve cost 900.00, no idea what a regular one cost. I'm wondering if having an opening that uses velcro or a zipper added would cost about the same as a custom sleeve.

Solaris Ready-Wrap has Velcro closures. Costs about $130-150 depending on where you buy it.
