    Maybe you could consult with a couple different radiation oncologists and get their takes on what the benefits are, what the risks are, and what their plan would be as far as what areas they'd target, etc. Getting a couple different opinions may help, and it does typically have the benefit of reducing the risk of local recurrence. Like everything, it has its risks, but ROs should be able to give you some risk/benefit comparisons.

    My surgeon is putting a referral in for a RO. I'm going to wait and see what the tumor board and my oncologist also say. I call this chapter of my story Living in Shades of Grey. If it was cancer or wasn't, it'd make the decision easier. It's in this grey area of not being conclusive, and that makes it a little more difficult to make a decision
