Im going to have plantar fasciatis (sp) surgery and I was wondering if I should be concerned about lymphidema? Ive heard I shouldnt have an IV or let them strap my arms down. Should I call my Oncologist? I had breast cancer and reconstruction in 2014

Tell them no needles and no blood pressure cuff on the side you had your tumour. The other arm is ok to use. They should give you a bracelet that says such and wear it on that arm.

Any side that has LE should be avoided.whole quarter section. They can do food draw. Insist no matter what. They will poo poo your idea so be prepared to stick to your guns no matter what. And have a huge sign made above bed. No BP no needles except legs. Carefull,I was so dopey coming out of surgery but awake enough to stop a nurse coming at my arm,she thenput up the sign for rest of nurses.🙂

You should be only worried if they tampered or removed nodes
