Port tip not showing on xray after port implant surgery

I recently had surgery to have my chemo port implanted the next day the doc called said the X-Ray after surgery didn't show where the tip was. I have to go back for more X-Rays and maybe shoot blue dye in the port to check the tip location. May need to back to the or. Anyone have this happen?
