reconstruction options after tummy tuck

Is DIEP possible if I already have a tummy tuck? I will see a plastic surgeon next wee

    Generally you can't have a DIEP if you have previously had a tummy tick. The tissue needed for a DIEP is gone.

    There are other tissue recon options -for example sGAP but if you are interested make sure you find a ps that does them in high volume.

    Yes there are options if you've had a tummy tuck. My PS created my flap from my thighs (I had a bilateral thigh lift).

    Waiting for final reconstruction 8n July, ready to be done. Good luck to you.
