Hypertrophic scarrring on 1/3 of foob

2/3 of my foob scar from my lat flap surgery has healed fine. 1/3 of it, the part of the flap closest to my arm pit, is red and hypertrophic one year out. I'm going to have the surgeon do a steroid injection on it, but I was wondering if anyone else had had parts of their incisions scar well, and the other parts not so much.
