Late tamoxifen dose!

Hi - I am very sorry as I have seen posts already on this, but after having breast cancer my OCD's are really bad. I normally take my tamoxifen around lunch and today have taken 6 hours late.
It shouldn't matter should it? I'm in a state of panic, which is probably worse for my health than taking a late dose - just typing the question out is helping me. God I am a nutter.....

Breathe. It doesn't matter. Tamoxifen stays in your system for quite a long time. Six hours is not a problem in any source I've read.

- Tamoxifen has a half life of 5-7 days - meaning that it will take that long for the drug to decrease by half of its original level in your system, then another 5-7 days for it to get to a quarter of the original level, etc.
