Just started chemo, very scared, but pain almost gone.

Stage III IDC, large tumor 5cm, grade 3. Had first Chemo treatment two weeks ago, the breast pain has gone from severe to very mild. Is this a good sign the chemo is working or am I just getting my hopes up

I also had a 5 cm. tumor; if chemo is working, the tumor should shrink. In some cases (like mine), the tumor completely disappears; in others, the tumor just gets smaller. Chemo works best on Grade 3 cancer because it focuses on destroying quickly dividing cells. Hope it works for you!
