Chemo Induced Menopause Questions

I finished chemo in July of 2015, I just finished my last Herceptin/Perjeta infusion 3 weeks ago and I still don't have my period back, I just turned 41. I read that most women get it back within 3 months of finishing chemo and I am so past that..my periods used to be on time like a swiss watch and they of course stopped as soon as I started chemo in March 2015. But I would have thought it would be back by now. My hair started growing again but that's about it in terms of progress. I thought by now I would be back to normal. I am struggling to gain any weight and have actually lost 2 pounds since finishing chemo and I cannot get past 90 pounds (I usually weigh around 100) which makes me look emaciated and sick still. I don't think the Herceptin/Perjeta should have had any influence on my hormones according to my doctor. I have always been very thin and have always had my period regularly.

I have been trying to get a gyno appointment since March but I need to be seen by my primary to get a referal and my appointment is not til June 17th which means I won't see a proper doctor til probably August.

Is there any advice anyone can give me to jumpstart my hormones or if that can even be done? I have the worst hotflashes every night since chemo ended and wake up drenched almost every night several times.

I want my period back! Thanks for letting me vent. This is just so frustrating.
