Thermal burn on Legs during cold capping and chemo

I was diangnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma, Stage 1, 1/2" tumor, E+P+HER2+, BRACA I and II negative, in January 2016. The oncologist recommended starting treatment with Taxol and Herceptin weekly for 12 weeks. On May 13, 2016, I finished my 12 week treatment with Taxol and will continue with Herceptin every 3 weeks for one year. I did the cold capping which is also called Penguine Caps during my treatment and did not lose any of my hair. During the cold capping, I put an electric blanket on my legs because it was so cold and the capping took a total of 7 hours. As a result, I developed a thermal burn on my legs I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else and how was it treated. I am currently using coconut oil and after 3 weeks, ithere is some minor improvement. I went to see a dermatologist and she prescribed a steroid which made it worse. I
