I posted the following question in the Metastatic forum and didn't receive any response I'm hoping someone can give me some information.

2008 I was dx DCIS after several unsuccessful lumpectomies I had bilateral mastectomy with silicone implants put in. Everything went well.

2012 I found a tumor in the same area as initial dx. They removed tumor and scanned entire body. There was breast cancer in my ribs So now I'm metastatic. They decided to treat aggressively with chemo and 2 different types of radiation. 7weeks on right breast where tumor was located and stereotactic 5 doses on rib on left side.

2016 I have responded well to my treatments, I currently receive a bone strengthener infusion and take tamoxifen daily. I appear to be NED

My question- I have capsular contracture in my right breast that is uncomfortable do you know of anyone who is stage 4 metastatic that has had their implants or implant replaced? My plastic surgeon feels he can correct it but I'm unsure of going through this again.
