Dear bco friends,
This isn't new news, but my friend just forwarded to me.
The story features my breast surgeon of 18 years, Laura Esserman of UCSF. She's extraordinary! She's taken hours with me, sung songs, done several surgical procedures in her office on an as-need basis (no special appointments or OR folderol).
