Bilateral (at diagnosis) and triple negative

My doctors and I have an ongoing conversation that I could be in a very rare category . Under 40 bilateral breast cancer which is triple negative. My tumors were small so I went with bmx. Anyone else

    From your profile, it looks like you had bilateral DCIS? Bilateral DCIS isn't really a "mixed" type of breast cancer, so you may also want to post in the DCIS forum here:

    There are some members here with ER- PR- HER2- DCIS and some with bilateral disease, but maybe not a lot with both (and no invasive component). I had bilateral disease, but it was hormone receptor-positive (HER2 not tested), with some small invasion.

    Age 52 at diagnosis - Synchronous bilateral breast cancer - Stage IA IDC - BRCA negative;

    Bilateral mastectomy and SNB, without reconstruction 9/2013

    Dx Right: ER+PR+ DCIS (5+ cm) with IDC (1.5 mm) and micro-invasion < 1 mm; Grade 2 (IDC); 0/4 nodes.

    Dx Left: ER+PR+ DCIS (5+ cm); Grade 2 (majority) and grade 3; isolated tumor cells in 1/1 nodes (pN0i+(sn)).
