Hi - I've been following these discussions, made a couple of posts and people on these boards are great. I've been diagnosed with Stage iv with mets to liver/bone/spine. I am her2 + , er - , pr - so I just stared the taxol , herceptin , and perjeta treatments.

I'd be curious to hear from anyone who is in the same boat with stage iv and her2 + treatments.

I'm 36 with 2 young children and wondering how effective these treatments are. I've heard great stuff about them and just beginning this long journey.

Thanks and good luck to all of you as well!

    Hi JCNC,

You're sure to get some great responses here, but you may also want to post in the popular Herceptin and/or Perjeta Thread in the Stage IV forum to meet others taking this type of treatment.

    We hope this helps!

HI: I was/am in your boat. I was diagnosed with Stage IV, HER-2 positive metastatic disease with mets to liver and bones--just like you--in January 2007. I had one course of taxotere, carboplatin and perception. Was fortunate enough to have a complete response, and have been in remission since then I continue with infusions of Herceptin every three weeks. I hope you have the same outcome!

cnanthia - that is fantastic! I too was diagnosed Stage IV from the start, mets to bone, August 2014. 15 rounds of radiation to two area of my spine, Taxotere/Herceptin/perjeta and now just Herceptin and perjeta. So far everything is stable. I still have a much smaller tumor in my breast, but weighing surgery.

I'm glad I stumbled across your response. I love hearing from exceptional responders!
