edited May 2016 in Waiting for Test Results

So I didn't hear anything on Friday, so it's torture waiting through the weekend. Biopsy was last Wednesday. The worst thing is the few people I've told like my DH, Sis,and BFF keep speculating . Like " this could be a good thing since there not in a rush." They just don't understand how it works . I know they're trying to ease my mind, but it's not working . If the results are cancer does the biopsy reveal the type and stage? Or does that come later? I'm trying to gather info, I'm nervous and scared

Waiting for results was the hardest part for me. After I received them, I knew what I was dealing with and had a sense of control. When you do get the results, it will tell you the type, grade, and ER/PR status.

In the meantime, try to stay as busy as possible and do things you enjoy, and most importantly take care of yourself. I told myself that worrying and stressing was not going to change my results, so I might as well be happy and enjoy the day.

I'm sorry you find yourself here, but you couldn't find a better place for support and understanding.
