Dunosumab

I am on a study for Denosumab. Anyone out there either taking this or on study? Its hoping that this prevents or decreases the risk of BC spreading to bones.

Hello there! I was curious about this drug, not having heard of it. when I googled it, I found that at least google thinks the correct spelling might be Denosumab, if so, the brand names here in the US are xgeva and prolia and perhaps others??? there are threads mentioning those drugs - use the search function.

Yep you're right I had the spelling incorrect it is Denosumab. I've been on the trial since my diagnosis in 2012 but its double blind, so dont know if I'm getting the real stuff.

if you check the threads about these brand named drugs - people might be talking about side-effects and if you are experiencing the same - it might be that you are getting the actual drug and not the placebo. In any event, good for you for participating in a clinical trial - they help us all.
