Biopsy next week

Hello all,

I felt a lump in my breast and went to the Dr. He felt it as well and also said it feels like fibrocystic changes. I had a diagnostic mammogram with ultrasound. Both came back normal but dense breasts. The radiologist said she thinks I'm feeling normal tissue. My Dr sent a referral for a biopsy with an ocology surgeon which is scheduled for next week. Debating even having it done since everything looks normal but my question is, has this happened to anyone where it has been cancer? Bi rads 3 and no family history. Thank you for being there! I guess I am a liitle nervous 😬

    Summer.....IMO you should get a definitive diagnosis. Since you have dense breasts you could ask for a MRI before you have a biopsy. That being said it seems like the odds are on your side for a benign result ! Good luck....
