Night sweats after bi lateral mastectomy

hi everyone

I have had the following cancers

Aged 27 -- acute myleloid leukaemia

Aged 35 -- cervical cancer -- total hysterectomy

Aged 49 -- stage 3 breast cancer -- bi lateral mastectomy -- lymph nodes removed

Aged 52 -- undefined cancer at the base of neck

I have got through all of this but this time I am having severe sweats , so bad it feels like I have just had a shower which last sometimes for days leaves me unable to get out of bed as all I do is sweat -- sleep -- sweat.

I have already been through the change after the leukaemia so know it's not that. I could not tolerate tamoxifen so ruled that out.

Has anyone having this experience?

Please let me know what you oncologist says, can't get any sense out of mine about it, or if you have found your own solution I could try, this has been going on for the last two years and I am desperate.

If you would like any support regarding the above cancers please feel free to ask

Many thanks

Fairy dancer.....how long ago was your last surgery. Anesthesia and surgery can mess with your adrenal glands for up to a year after. This could cause the sweating. Just a thought. Good luck and let us know if you find a resolution.
