Has anyone else had this and if so how did you and your dr treat it?

I was treated for Ulcer/Gastric Pain approx a year prior to my diagnosis. I'd never had any history of this type of problem. I actually went to the E.R. back then because I thought I was having a heart attack. My dr ended up putting me on Prilosec for approx 5 months. and it helped. Went off the Prilosec and didn't have any more problems. .... Until now. My MO had told me from the beginning that most people have some stomach problems during chemo. So I was expecting it. When it first started it wasn't that bad and so they started me on Zantac. Before chemo #3 the Zantac wasn't working anymore so they told me to start the Prilosec again. So I did .. that was approx 2 weeks ago. In the past week it's also not effective. If I eat ANYTHING I'm instantly bloated and feel like I'm having a heart attack. I am not sure what else to do. I can't afford to lose anymore weight. Not to mention it hurts and is uncomfortable.

I get it for about 2 or so days after every treatment- bad. On FEC it was earlier than it is now on Doxetaxel. I was in a lot of pain the other night and slept sitting up. Some nights I wake up choking from it. I have always taken a mes for stomach issues and still do. Tums does not touch it. I am going to go talk to a pharmacist and see if gaviscon or something else wil help to be prepared for next time. It is awful! Will let you know what they say
