trying to decide

Hello,

I'm new here unfortunately but I've been reading lots of threads. Was diagnosed 3/29/16 IDC ER+ PR+ HER2- tumor originally 1.7, after MRI 2.7 as well as 2 more suspicious spots, left breast looks clear as well as nodes according to MRI & BS. Consulted with PS this week to go over options for mastectomy w/immediate Reconstruction. I'm leaning towards TRAM flap. I'm just so overwhelmed. I get a CT to check blood flow & tissue to see if that's good for this procedure. It's just so radical. I'm also waiting on the genetic test to come back. I know this is such a personal decision but ANY input would be great. Thanks!

I had implants, but have you also seen/heard of DIEP flap? Just checking

I'm having right side single mx in June. Have chosen no reconstruction. Mainly just didn't want to deal with the long initial surgery of tissue recon and the follow-ups. I'm 55, so the lack of a breast is not an issue for me.
