    Malissa...

Welcome! Armidex and Femara are not actually chemotherapy. They are aromatase inhibitors. Bone and joint pain are a common complaint when taking these drugs, as is lethargy. There are a lot of threads on this site that address these issues. There are a number of strategies for dealing with these side effects. You don't mention how long you have taken the AI's, but I found that at about 18 months, they did lessen.

Again, welcome and hope you are able to find a Femara thread that helps you manage these side effects.

AI's are not 'Chemo pills'. They are 'HormoneTherapy' for those who are ER+ after other TXs.

It would help with replies if you would fill out your Profile with what your DX and TX has been so far.

I've been on Femara/letrozole for 6+ yrs with no issues.

I am on Femara, and it hit me hard at 6 months. A good full body work out took care of the bone and joint pain.

I’ve started to get monthly body massages and walking more to deal with the joint aches & stiffness. If I do get bone pain I will try switching my antihistamine from Zyrtec to Claritin--those on chemo and bone drugs report that Claritin seems to help. My major SEs at 4 months are night sweats and carb cravings.
