tuna for a salad?

Hi there,

I'm in the middle of radiation and doing a total makeover on my diet - making better food choices.

I brought a green salad to work today to eat, but I didn't have any protein ready to put on it. I'm thinking about running to the grocery store and buying some tuna. What kind should I get?

Chunk light? Non-canned?

I need to prepare some chicken or something in the evening to bring, but I'm in a pinch right now and need to get something quick.

What do you recommend? Thanks!

We buy "Ocean Naturals" brand canned skipjack tuna-nothing in it but tuna, water and salt or tuna, olive oil, and salt depending on which kind you choose-I like the kind with olive oil, my husband prefers the water packed. Not sure what the criteria for your diet do-over is. Ours entails not eating artificial anything and we prefer environmentally sustainable. I buy it at Walmart, so I'd guess it can be found most places.
