Cluster Microcalcifiations Birad 4...

ok, so I'm nervous... I had my first mammo & got called back for another mammo which the radiologist said showed 2 microcalcifiation clusters Birad 4. What I'm wondering is; I have one in each breast, so I have to have both biopsied, does it matter that there is one in each breasts? Is that a better sign, a bad sign, our does it even matter? The biopsy is on Tuesday & hopefully I'll have the results by Friday...

Thanks for understanding...

I think having one area in each breast doesn't really change your testing decision. I have microcalcification in one breast and scheduled for additional views. I'm thinking most likely the only thing you can do is keep in mind most are benign...and have biopsy....it's so hard going b thru this...I've done it now my 3rd time...and I hate saying doesn't get any easier to get thru....make sure you ask a lot of questions when you get your test results...like when it's benign should you have recheck mammo in 6 months....or US...or possibly an MRI...good luck....
