fujiimama earned her angel wings
Fujiimama's husband Oscar posted on the Crossroads thread that his wife passed away on April 4th. She had posted on the thread just 2 days before saying she had stopped chemotherapy. She was surrounded by her family and friends. She was a beautiful spirit and will be missed by many here.

Here is Oscar's post about fujiimama's death from the Crossroads Thread
This Oscar, fujimama's husband. I had no idea as to where to start this. my wife went back home to her lord Jesus on April 4th at around 10pm. She went peacefully with all her family and some best friends being by her side. Her mother was by her side all the way till the end of this journey. I want to apologize if this is the wrong place to bring this up. She has helped and support so many other in her long journey that I am sure I will never know how many peoples lives she changed. Thank you. She loved bring able to share and figure out what to expect from each treatment....

I'm terribly sadden to hear this. Fujiimama was one of the first posters on BCO to reach out to me when I posted with my mets diagnosis and questions.
Prayers of comfort and peace for her family and all who loved her.

I didn't know she was having a hard time until I saw her post the other day that she was stopping treatment. It all happened so quickly. Feeling very saddened by this news. I loved her fearless, no bones about it attitude and humor. She will be missed.

like jfl, I didn't know she was having a hard time! She was a fellow horse lover. I loved her attitude, sense of humor. I feel dumb struck. We were both diagnosed stage 4 around the same time and had similar stats. I am so sad for her family and friends! Including us! Rest in peace Fuji.

Sad to read this. I believe her kids were too young to lose their Mom.

NOOOOOO...I can't believe this...I can't breathe. I was going to pm her when I saw that she posted she was stopping tx along with Nancy. I need to realize this disease doesn't take breaks..I'm so sad. She pm'd me in March saying she was feeling better & almost at 5 years. We talked about getting together...living only 6 hrs apart. She so loved her family...rowing boats, riding horses, walking kids to school...Oscar's so right, she did help us...she taught me to find joy each day...I could hear it in her words. Fujii...we will miss you so very much. Fly free & circle around us all...peace to your beloveds.
