Albany, NY area?

Hello all! I had IDC stage 2 at age 44 (premenopausal) - a year+ out now from surgery etc (in Philadelphia area). On monthly Zolodex injections plus Aromasin. I adore my oncologist and breast surgeon here (see onc every 3 months, breast surgeon every 6 months) but we are moving to Albany, NY next month. Looking for recommendations for specific oncologist and breast surgeons for follow up/continued care. Suggestions? Recommendations? Thanks!

Rufus Collea is my mother's oncologist in Albany, N.Y. She likes him very much.

@Jelson or @placid44 - do you happen to have a PCP to recommend as well? I *just* realized obviously I need one of those too - at least to get the referral. :-)

are you actually moving into the city of Albany? are you already enrolled in a particular health plan? not all require a referral from your pcp to see a specialist. we have a large number of doctors and medical service locations to choose from. I had the luxury of choosing from 3 sites for radiation - one in walking distance, another in bicycling distance and the third to which I would have driven. My pcp is with Slingerlands Family Practice.

CDHP and we will be in Guilderland, but very close to the city line (Stuyvesant Plaza/Campus area). I will need a PCP referral. Here I never see my PCP - she just keeps writing the referrals that I need (oncologist, breast surgeon, endocrinologist)...works for me...I am sad to have to re-negortiate all of this! Thanks for the help!
