hi everyone. I am a new member to this forum. My 27yr old niece has just been diagnosed with ibc and am seeking advice on how to help her through this and what to expect. She has had her first bout of chemo which knocked her about. I want to support her the best way possible. Your advice is appreciated.

Worried aunt .....First of all your niece is very lucky to have such a supportive aunt. Im sorry you have to be here but I think you will find this forum very helpful. Just being there for her will give her comfort. The beginning of this process is the most difficult. Many women need to take something to get them through this stage. Once she has all the facts and a treatment plan she will feel better. IMO where you are treated is very important and would advise her to go to a university based teaching hospital. We all all here for here. Good luck and keep us posted....
