Tamoxifen, huge ovarian cyst and validation

So I had my appointment with a gyno today after my HO referred me because of some spotting. I've been on tamoxifen since September and Zoladex since January. During the manual she found a huge ovarian cyst and sent me immediately for an ultrasound. I will get the results tomorrow . It was nice to finally get some validation and she was so compassionate. She listened to my list of side effects and recommended an anti depressant. Have any of you ladies been through this? If so what should I expect. Will I be having surgery to remove it? Any experiences would be nice to hear

I developed two large, painful ovarian cysts on the left side shortly after starting Tamoxifen, I had never had one before. They ruptured, which was incredibly painful. I then tried going to a half-dose of Tamoxifen but developed a cyst on the right side. I stopped taking the Tamoxifen (due to this and many other side effects), and the right side cyst resolved itself. Typically if the cyst isn't giving you trouble and is stable (obviously benign) they won't remove it, but will watch it.

Thank you for your reply. My ultrasound showed nothing. I go in for a hysterascope on the 18th to check my lining. I'm just wondering what she felt and why she was so shocked.
