Weird smell?

I have been smelling a strange smell since right after my first IGAP surgery in January. The only way to describe it is kind of yeasty, sweet smell. I remember smelling a very strong nauseating smell while I was in the hospital and I think Its the same, only not as strong.

My incision opened up to a large hole last month, and during that time my cat could even smell it....:-(.. but I have stitches in now and there is no sign of any problem or infection. My husband thinks I'm crazy as he cant smell anything.

Perhaps when I get the stitches out next week it will disappear, but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar. So weird.
