Does anyone have any experience with Stereotactic Body Radiation Treatment for spinal/bone mets? Short background: My Mother, 62, was just diagnosed with a single spinal bone met to her T1 vertebrae after being in remission for 19 years. She is not hormone responsive this time but was 19 years ago. She had a lumpectomy at that time as well as both nodes removed. The plan is for her to be treated with 3-5 treatments SBRT (starting next week) followed by Taxol for 2-3 months given weekly. I've also been told its possible she qualifies as potential oligometastatic since she is currently only showing one small met.

Any thoughts, experiences, knowledge would be helpful.

Thanks,

CM
