switching from AC to TCH (neoadjuvant)?

Dear community,

My mom has completed 3AC (inflammatory breast cancer, HER2+, ER+). It was some response but not "complete". Then, a doctor switched to TCH (paclitaxel, carboplatin and herceptin) every three weeks, and the plan is to complete 6 cycles. This new chemo really worned her out, and she is a bit scared of getting the next chemo as she could not get out of bed for a while.

This is done in Russia, and I wonder if she received a right (not too high dose). From what I have read, the dose for the second chemo should usually be lower, but she is getting Paclitaxel (175 mg/m2), carboplatin (6 AUC) and herceptin 8mg/kg-initial dose (every 3 weeks). I wonder if Paclitaxel was prescribed at a too high dosage (and if carboplatin does not seem necessary). She is worried about asking to low the dose as it might affect the drug efficacy, or she is worried they might stop the therapy, but it is too hard to tolerate it at the same time.

I made a search and can't find this type of switching AC-TCH to see if the dose was right. My mom is 65.

Thanks.
