Removing Origami Nipples?

Does anyone out there regret their origami nipple reconstruction? Has anyone ever had them removed?? I wonder if my DIEP surgeon would consider taking mine off. Am I crazy?

    I'm sorry your unhappy with the results. I'm in the decision making process and wondering what you are unhappy with. The longer I go without nipple, the more I lean toward not getting them, but then I think they look "unfinished"

    I never asked if they could be removed if I didn't like them, but my PS did say if I thought they turned out too big they could be trimmed down.

    At the time, I was really on the fence about getting them. Without them, I looked and felt fine without a bra. Now that I have them, I have to wear a bra. Wouldn't it be nice to be bra-free again? Also, they are very small and a bit asymmetrical.
