cold caps NJ

I'm on my way to see my BS and find out my pathology results. Fairly certain I will need chemo and I am definitely interested in cold capping. However the drive from NJ to NY is very long and I feel I need to explore NJ options for chemo. The two NJ sites with cold cap freezers are far from me. Looking for feedback on places that not only allow but will not make me feel like a burden. I know Morristown Memorial is in trials with Paxman. Don't know how the results compare with Dignicap or Penguin. I am in North central NJ close to route 78. Thank you. Also MO suggestions appreciated.

Hi Joni. Don't worry about being a burden at your treatment center. Consider it an opportunity to spread the word about cold caps. It really helps if you have an oncologist who's open to the cold cap option, but not necessary. I was the first patient to use cold caps at my center (with dry ice) and now my oncologist routinely suggests them to her patients.
