Hi Fatush,
Where in Minnesota are you located? just a general location so I might make a recommendation or two. You should also check with your insurance company for providers within your scope of coverage.

My girlfriend from Minneapolis loves her breast surgeon. I will get his name and report back.

Here is the info she sent me when I was wondering where to go (ended up staying in Mexico).
I know you just asked about the plastic surgeon, but I figure if you go there, you may as well see all the resources I had. It has been an incredible experience for me all around. When they handle things as well as these people do, it almost makes you forget you have cancer. Ha. These are all in the Minneapolis metropolitan area. Convenient locations:
The Jane Brattain Breast Center was amazing. Great staff. Incredibly well set up. They gave me a personal nurse/counselor for all my needs. I call her about anything and she contacts whomever I need if I ask her to. She gives me any advice, checks in on me, calls about reminders, all that jazz. They gave me an online My Chart account so all of my test results, my appointments, notes from doctors, etc., can be checked there. I LOVE that.

My surgeon for mastectomy, Dr. Grubbs, is about the nicest guy in the world. He is adored by all who work with him. You can tell just by his picture just how nice a guy he is, I swear.

My surgery was done at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, MN. This is all through the Park Nicollet System. The other system to consider is the Mayo Health Care System in Rochester MN. That is pretty much the highest ranked in the world. My insurance put me at Park Nicollet. I could have chosen Mayo, but I wanted to be in the Twin Cities. Both great systems.
My plastic surgeon is Dr. Lovaas. He is great. Lots of experience with breast implants and reconstruction. Gets down to business, but also nice. Says he does about 1000 a year. Tattooing is done in office there too.

My Oncologist: Dr. Zylla. Serious guy, but not off-putting. Still nice. (truly ridiculous photo of him) When Dr. Grubb's said to me, "If I needed an Oncologist, THIS is the guy I would want," I was so relieved. I really trust Dr. Grubb's word on everything. He also said Dr. Lovaas was his number one pick for plastic surgeons.

Hi Fatush:
Here is some information about "NCI-designated cancer centers" ("NCI" = National Cancer Institute), and there are some in Minnesota:

I grew up in Minnesota and if I lived there I would go to the Mayo Clinic if possible. This site lists 2 NCI cancer centers in MN: http://www.cancer.gov/research/nci-role/cancer-centers , the Mayo Clinic in Rochester and Masonic Cancer Center in Minneapolis. I've had several family members treated for various things (but not BC) at the Mayo Clinic and everyone is very positive about their experiences with Mayo. When I lived in MN the Mayo Clinic was THE place to go if you had anything seriously wrong with you.
