I hate this infection theory

Last scan in January showed NED with TM at 16. Follow-up appt. with my Onc yesterday.

I have slight pain in my neck when I turn my head to left and right side. My Onc felt a lymph node with inflammation. He said since it hurts, the chances are that its not cancer, usually lymph nodes dont hurt when cancer is in them, so it might be just an infection.

Me: ahh, WHAT ? My TM are now 21. I am getting worried. I am since November on Afinitor/Aromasin, and I have to issues, no flu, no cold, no pain or anything, besides that neck pain when I move my head.

So worried now AGAIN.....

Next Scan is end of April.

Any input from you Ladies ?

It would be difficult to know without some type of imaging what it might be. But if it is infection it should go back down before the scan. Try not to worry too much. Your tumor markers are still way within normal range. I will pray for a good outcome.
