How long did your biopsy pain last?

Hi all, I'm new here. My core needle biopsy was on 3/7 and produced a huge hematoma, which has been diminishing gradually. I was feeling a lot less discomfort until two nights ago, when I noticed 2 tiny new bruises on the opposite side of my biopsy'd breast. The next morning I felt deep pain/aching and nipple sensitivity as if I'd had the biopsy and hematoma all over again. The radiologist told the nurse that I could experience pain for as long as a month. Anyone else have this? Two extra-strength Tylenol take care of the pain, but not much is treating my anxiety and the fear of pain that I never knew I had!

    what I remember is that the pain from the core needle biopsy lasted longer and was much worse than from the subsequent lumpectomy. sorry for your extreme pain, I sincerely hope that it resolves soon.
