Is this given with the original chemo? Or after the chemo?

Usually it's given on the same day as your initial chemo regimen. However, since it's usually continued for 1 year of total treatment, it will continue on after the initial treatment is completed. It takes a lot less time at that point and causes very few side effects (if any) for most people.
