Headaches after oophorectomy

So I now have a dull achy headache for most of the day for the last 2 days. This was typical for me during my menstrual cycle, the day before my period would start, I would get these headaches, but now, I won't get the increase in estrogen, so I have the headache just hanging out. Anyone else have this and how did you deal with it. It isn't too bad, and just more annoying than anything and I will ask my Dr. when I see him on thursday, but for the most part, just wonder what others did and did it get better.

I get a headache that usually lasts 3 days after I get a Lupron injection. My MO said it's just due to hormone inbalance. I would assume you would have similar issues with hormones after your ooph.

I was on zoladex before the surgery Bon. The original plan was I was going to be on zoladex until June and have my surgery then, but my OB felt it was better to do surgery sooner and that I would be completely healed within a week (I am in nursing school so I have to be careful and not miss class or clinicals because of recovery and this is my spring break week) so anyway, OB felt going sooner was better so I had one zoladex injection then surgery on the say I was supposed to get my second injection.

Caffeine might help, thanks. I really don't think it is anything in my brain, it feels identical to my cyclical headaches that I have had with every cycle for the last 28 years. But I will bring it up with my Dr. It just doesn't go away now after a day like it did with my periods.

I had my oopharectomy 2 days ago, and have had mild headaches on and off since then.

It's too early for me to say what works. Rest and tylenol seem to be the best so far... but we'll see..
