My surgery is scheduled for tomorrow...

Hi Everyone, Well, the time has come and tomorrow is the day. I have to be at the hospital at 6:45 Am. Going to have the wire localization first then surgery scheduled for 10AM.... I went for the sentinel node radioactive injection this afternoon and it wasn't bad at all... Now I just hope that the rest of my procedures go as smoothly and quickly...

Having the lumpectomy and then a breast reduction on the opposite side for symmetry. I was told that the procedures should take around 3.5-4 hours.. It is still considered a same day surgery so I hope to be home by early evening... I just wish I could fast forward to this time tomorrow so I will be home and done

Any last minute things I need to know?

Thanks for your support and encouragement since my diagnosis.... It is so nice to be part of a group where everyone understands and there is not judgement....

nachout, I hope your surgery goes well!:) Keep us posted. I don't have any advice. Just be good to yourself and take help when offered.

My surgery is also outpatient on the 30th. I would like some advice or pointers if anyone has ideas.

No real advice or pointers as I has a totally different procedure but I just wanted to say good luck.  You will be home before you know it! I am surprised with the reduction you are going home!! These crazy hospitals!
