Neulesta and Claritin

I'm taking Claritin for the neulesta shot but really need benedryl to fall asleep. Do you think thatscool to take both??

    You should call the nurse to have her ask the Onc before you take anything, even over the counter meds and herbals, just to be sure. Just as the Claritan has been found to be very useful, others hinder chemo and its effects. I bet benadryl is ok, as it is giving by IV during chemo, but check with the team to be sure. Hugs to you!

    One of my chemo pre meds is benadryl. I also took Claritin (not D) the day of Neulasta shot and for 2 days after. Lots of us did with no issues.
