ad my core biopsy done. They took 7 samples of the same area. I was surprised to see there was still a mass there when they re-imaged for the clip placement. I was told three to five days but radiologist said I would hear from her Monday. It wasn't even painful, less painful than the mammo which says a lot BC that doesn't really hurt either. Still numb so let's not count the chickens before they hatch but all in all better than expected.

They weren't able to get a skin sample but said let's wait for these results then have that evaluated. Suggested cortisone for now.

Enough for now.

hi babyblueeyes - we are in at least somewhat of the same boat. I had an u/s guided biopsy Monday. It didn't hurt, but now I'm pretty bruised and sore. Also, worried! The doctor said she could diagnose it "clinically" stage 2 bc based on the films and exam but won't be confirmed until I get the biopsy results back. The waiting game is hard. Also, I am *exhausted*. I've been going to work but my energy levels drop steeply by mid afternoon. I don't know if it's all the emotional swings of absorbing this situation or if it's because of whatever is going on inside of me physically.

Anyway, I wanted to wish you some peace and support as someone who is also waiting on results from that type of procedure.

    Best wishes.
