Hi Sisters,

I have been involved in advocacy against the Transpacific Partnership, or TPP.

The TPP is a threat for cancer patients.

The TPP is like NAFTA on steroids. It goes far beyond NAFTA. It contains dangerous provisions that would lock in bad policies that keep costs of cancer medicines too high. Specifically, it creates special monopolies for biological medicines that will delay generics, keep prices obscenely high, and thus prevent some women from accessing the meds they need to stay alive. It also reward drug companies for spending money on legal action rather than investing in real innovation to develop new drugs.

I seek other women to join me in action -- I need help with everything from helping with online research to organizing meetings with your members of Congress to speaking to media to going to protests. You can contact me, without spaces zahara peace at gmail dot com.

Critical for cancer patients to get involved. At this time, it is in the hands of the US Congress. They have power to vote it down.

Love and Action,

Zahara aka Thriver
