Nightmares on Gabapentin?

My Gyn started me on Gabapentin to help with hot flashes and pain a few weeks ago. I've been titrating up from 100 mg at night, to 3 times a day and then 2 at night, then 2 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon. Last night I upped it to 300 mg for the first time. My husband said I slept horribly and I had a half dozen night terrors. I don't remember them but he said I woke up screaming 'I'm dying!' And 'Help me!' And some other stuff that he couldn't interpret.

Anyone else experience this

rleepac, Hi, I have been having a LOT of scary nightmares, and I have started to sleep with a light on by my bed. The only way I know how to stop them a little is to wake myself up all the way, other wise, if I don't the bad dream continues. I have taken 1 or 2 300 mg for several months, but pain doc said to take 3, so yeah, it has been making me wonder what was causing the night mares.. you are not alone, I wonder if it's a thing..
