Hot Tubs /Spas?

Does anyone have any information about using hot tubs after going through all the breast cancer crap and its potential impacts on leading to lymphedema? I've generally tried to avoid any hot tubs/saunas,etc. However, I'm planning a family trip to Iceland, and those geothermal spas look amazing and i would hate to pass up the opportunity....
