I'm currently living in St. Louis. I like my Drs and am doing well here. However I want to move to Colorado in the next six months. I wanted any opinions, or recommendations. We aren't sure which area yet

The Denver area has a lot of good oncologists. I have Kaiser insurance so I can only speak of experience with those docs. Once you know an area, let me know. I will ask around and see what I can find out.

My main oncologist is in the Kaiser system, if you have Kaiser let me know and I can give you a rec, but I also have an oncologist at the University of Colorado that I see for clinical trials. Her name is Dr. Virginia Borges and I really like her. The other oncologists at the University have a great reputation as well. My MIL sees Dr. Diab at Rocky Mountain Cancer Center and she really likes him. I don't have any personal experience with him though.

I was with Dr. Diab at Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers. He was very good. I did however changed to Dr. Hinshaw, also with Rocky Mountain, and I like her very much too. I changed mainly because I would like to have chemo at Skyridge, the facilities are larger and my DH or friend can be with me during chemo. The centers where Dr. Diab is are much smaller. I do however intend to keep him if I need second opinions on anything. I also have read that the drs at University of CO are great. I think it depend on where in CO you will be moving to and how much driving you are willing to put up with. Best of luck to you.

Forgive my post . I have BC and lymphoma. I am not stage 4 for BC but I am stage 4 for lymphoma . I highly recommend Doctor Ling Ma at the Rocky mountain cancer center in Lakewood Colorado.I have seen her for the past 4 years. She treated my BC and found the Lymphoma. I would not be here today without her !

Please excuse my post in the Stage IV forum if this is inappropriate, but I want to add my MO's name in case you move to the Longmont/Boulder area. I see Dr. Barnett at the Rocky Mountain Cancer Center in Longmont. He was highly recommended by many people, and he is a wonderful doctor. Very understanding and caring and helpful.
