I have a lump in my left breast 3CM. My Doctor did not choose surgery. I am now in chemotherapy:

I am getting the following:

Warm up= Dexamethasone 1MG, Diphenhydramine 50MG, Fosaprepitant 1MG, Palonosetron 25MG and then....

Carboplatin 50MG

Docetaxel 1MG

Pertuzumab 1MG

Trastuzumab 10MB

Neulasta: Pegilgrastim, On body injector

Doctor told me to take Zrtec and anti nausea pills before treatment morning.

I completed my first treatment on 2/24/2016. I was fine day one, I even went back to work the next day. Forgot to take Clariton before day 2. Day 2 I received the Neulasta and it hit me like a ton of bricks. I was unable to work or leave home due to stomach issues: Diarrhea and I was unable to drink enough liquids. I went to work the following Monday and Tuesday and by Wednesday I was so sick I could not work. I took Thurs, Fri, Sat, and rested. I was having a terrible time eating, drinking and on that Friday I went in for fluids. I woke up on Sunday Day 11 and it was like a switch turned on. I felt better, still had problems with hemorrhoids, food, and minor diarrhea and bleeding. Day 13 took a hot shower and my hair started falling out. Day 14 going back to work wearing a hat. Next treatment 3/16/2016. I will remember to take the Clariton this time before Day 2.

jenco, the Neulasta hit me hard too. I think Perjeta leads to diarrhea for some people. There are some threads around here dedicated to people undergoing the TCHP chemo/targeted agent regimen. You might find those helpful to read through and post on. Here's hoping round #2 is a little easier on you!
