I had a Mastectomy 6 yrs ago, I recently had a Breast MRI and these are the results. History of neoplasm with malignancy. Best identified on image #9 series A2, image #68 series A5 and image #18 series A6 is an enhancing lesion in the right breast with ill defined margins. This measures 9x9mm. Also seen is mild enhancement along the anterior surface of the chest wall on both the right and left presumably this is related to previous surgery. This appears to be relatively linear without discrete mass of mass effect. On the right there is a second region of enhancement which is more platelike and flat measuring 12 x .3 cm. More superiorly in the right breast there is an additional irregular region of enhancement this measures 8 x 8 mm. The left breast shows a vague region of enhancement in the chest wall. The margins of which are ill defined, this measures 14 x 20mm. IMPRESSION: 1. There are multiple regions of enhancement in the right breast which are of significant concern for recurrence. While I could not exclude postsurgical changes the appearance does have some mass effect and is stellate. Malignancy could not be excluded. 2. Focal region involving the chest wall which is also the same site as the focused ultrasound. Malignancy could not be excluded. Given this patient's clinical history and the appearance of the MRI consideration of PET/CT is suggested. ALERT: THIS IS AN ABNORMAL REPORT

Thank you kayb . I don't know yet, I have an appointment today. I've been feeling something in there that hasn't felt right. :(

I totally agree with what kayb said. About half the time I get imaged now there is something that the radiologist says could be something or could be nothing. Sometimes they just follow up by looking for change at the next imaging and once they did a biopsy. So far, knock on wood, it's never been anything to worry about. They are super cautious with a history of cancer and they just want to be very sure they aren't missing anything.
