9 years...and counting!

Just wanted to check in here, and give support to all those who are currently fighting this beast, and give encouragement to those newly diagnose. Today is my "cancerversary"; 9 years ago today I received the news while having a mammo, that there is a lump. I saw my life flash before my eyes, thought no, you must be mistaken. After 4 months of chemo, 3 months of radiation, and numerous surgeries, I can say to you all there is light at the end of the tunnel. There is so much I am thankful for....being alive is first and foremost! Seeing my oldest marry the love of his life (hopefully soon they will give me a grandchild) celebrating 32 years of my marriage to the love of my life.

This site was my "go to" place every day......feeling the love from others, encouraging and getting encouraged during treatment and knowing there were others like me, some not as lucky; but just having a place to go and vent, etc.

So to all of you who are members here, I say keep fighting! Things will get better! And hopefully you will all be able to celebrate and count off the years as they go by!

Bonnie
